Lee Yoo Seok’s fascination with the art of image-making began in 2005, when, as a sixth grader, he discovered photography and embarked on a self-guided exploration of visual storytelling. This early passion propelled him to experiment with unconventional photographic techniques, laying the groundwork for his future in film and cinematography.
To refine his craft, Lee Yoo Seok pursued formal education in the visual arts. He earned a Diploma in Fine Arts with a specialization in Video Production from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, an experience that sharpened his technical prowess and deepened his artistic insight. Seeking further growth, he then completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film, with a concentration in Cinematography, at the School of Visual Arts in New York—an institution renowned for cultivating innovative and globally recognized creatives.
Over the course of his career, Lee Yoo Seok has cultivated a comprehensive skill set that encompasses work as a Camera Assistant, Cinematographer, and Steadicam Operator. Whether he is contributing to large-scale film productions or intimate independent projects, he channels a keen visual sensibility and polished technical expertise to deliver captivating narratives.
